How long will we have to wait for this DVD now?

Optimum are still trying to pin a date for releasing this film in the English audio. It looks like they originally said May the 25th and thought they would release the same French audio print as Studio Canal did in France in 2003. If Optimum did their homework in the first place (including reading this message board) they would have known that the English audio print is what most fans crave! Any questions just ask the person handling this project:

Actually I asked this woman Emilie the question about 7 weeks ago, "which language will the dvd be in" but she didn't reply. Time to chase her up I think!

I've been waiting over two weeks to hear from emilie too! I mean WTF? Don't optimum like responding to e-mails from customers wanting to buy their dvd's?
If I e-mail 20th century fox or Sony pictues re one of their dvd's I generally get a reply within a week. Not Optimum.

Guess what? it is obviously good customer service day today at Optimum- I e-mailed Emilie there about this and got a reply within minutes! The dvd has been postponed and there's no concrete date yet.

I'm sure it won't take Optimum more than two or three months more from late May to release it. Hopefully!

I just bought the DVD from Wildeast productions. It has Farewell friend with Alain Delon as well. Good anamorphic picture. Probably the best US release of this film.
