"Everybody Here's Eating Meat"

I found this scene really interesting, when the Nazis enter the restaurant and shut it down.

I hadn't thought about it before, but yeah, Germany has over 6.5 million men just in the army in 1943, over 3 million men all over the eastern front in 1942, everybody needs to eat, you're not going to lean into your allies Italy, Romania, et al, or your friendlier vassals like the Dutch and the Danes, it's a wonder the French were allowed to eat anything more than bread and water.
