What Happened To Liz Gebhardt!?

Can anyone tell me the fate of Liz Gebhardt? Her vague biography states she died in 1996, and had an alternate name of Ray Llewellyn! I'm confused, so can someone enlighten me?

Hi, I too would like to know alot more about the lovely actress but cant find anything on her. You say biography, didnt know she had one. Any info at all on where i can obtain info on her would be great!

Gebhardt was diagnosed with cancer and admitted to hospital in summer 1996; she died in August, aged 51. During her cancer treatment, she sustained injuries from radiotherapy, a situation which contributed to the formation of a campaign to prevent damage from such treatment,

i remember seeing her in various other things after Please Sir! She was in the Naked Civil Servant, and I vaguely remember her in a sitcom about women in the mothers Union who were in love with the local vicar.

I watched this in 68 (age 8) I thought Maureen was absolutley wonderful. I wonder if Liz knew how much she was loved
