I almost forgot this show existed.


But if there is any tv show from the 60's and 70's to show the vapidity of American popular culture at the time, this is it.

And I love old reruns of Gilligan's Island or Beverly Hillbillies. Those shows had merit as camp.

Love, American Style attempted to show somewhat realistic representations of a society which had lost not only any sexual morality, but also any sense of ethics in every day life.

I'll just sum it up by saying this show always made me cringe as a child. Now I'm old enough to know why.
