The Brady Kids Are On Their Own Now

Our condolences to Florence Henderson, Ann B Davis, and Robert Reed.

Rest in peace, best wishes to you, and while it is true that they were not the real life parents and maid of the Brady Bunch Kids, they were still awesome in dynamic and chemistry on screen.
When Robert died, they aired a special centered on his involvement on and off camera even though he did not appear in all of the episodes and couldn't get over some serious drama. Unable to star in or be interviewed, it was handled in good taste. Ann B Davis, best known as Alice was a very outgoing maid on screen. Sadly, she passed away due to a fall in her later years. B stands for Bradford, which could very well be a nod to her tomboy like personality. She left behind an identical twin sister named Harriet. Funny though, there were some episodes where she played as two characters, they used an interesting new and unperfected camera trick to pull it off, when they could have just asked her sister.
Florence Henderson was like a real life Hallmark Card. She was born on Valentine's day and died on Thanksgiving Thursday. Well, thank you Florence, for giving us your time and energy always with that smile no matter what you were going through
the drama, and the stresses in life, on set and in death.

Every Brady adult has now passed away, and that leaves just the Brady kids, in need of a reunion for each other. Maybe they could comment on how eerie life and death truly are....

In their memory, The Brady Bunch Grown Ups.

It is so sad because it feels like part of my childhood has died as well. I watch the show constantly and it never fails to take me back to a better time in my own life, a time when life was very simple and easy and full of promise. It is no exaggeration to say that some of the best times of my life were those Friday nights in the early 70's sitting down with my brothers and sisters watching TBB.

I hope the entire cast knows how much joy, happiness and laughter they have brought the world since the show premiered in the fall of 1969. RIP, Florence; you made the world a better place.

It's pretty well agreed that Marcia is extremely fragile and had a tough time in her 20s with drugs and promiscuity, that Jan is extremely bitter that the show somehow ruined her career (although she is too plain and short to ever have received good roles except during childhood and adolescence, which she did), that Susan Olsen is a scary Tea Party Republican and a drunk, that Greg is vain and attention-starved, that Peter is clueless but well-meaning, that Bobby grew up to have the most normal life.

But do they like each other?

reply

greg was doing coke with marsha on the set and banging her. carol deflowered greg when he was 15. lol.. bobby has the biggest set of horse teeth since mr ed. cindy at least helps animals, despite tipping the bottle.

reply

Not true. Greg went on 1 innocent kiddy date with Carol when he was 15 and he and Marcia never went all the way.

Well, it has been 42 years since the show aired (and Greg graduated high school) that the kids have had a parent, so that's a good run.
