I will always remember this movie fondly... However,

I don't really care at all about the nuns or the girls and their stories.

This is one of the very first movies I can remember attending. I was only 3 or possibly 4 when I saw it with my mother and teenage sister. I recall they were both pretty excited to see it. I must have been very bored until it was almost over.

All I could remember about this movie is the scene near the end when the schoolbus is attacked by Indian warriors on horseback when the nuns accidentally drive onto a movie set in New Mexico. I was SO excited by this scene. It triggered an interest in Native Americans and the Wild West that has lasted my whole life.

I watched this movie again recently. I still found the nun drama kind of dull. I did really like the mood and feel of the late-middle 60s. There was this fun, adventurous, 'groovy' yet wholesome spirit of the times, before the more unsavory and destructive aspects of the Hippie scene reared their head. Really nice vibe and I wish I had been old enough in 66, 67, 68 to appreciate it in person.

The Indian attack was still as fun as I remember it from my pre-school viewing.
