What the baby looks like as described in the book (spoilers)

Near the end of the movie, we see a brief, superimposed, close-up shot of supposedly the baby's face. Here is how Ira Levin's novel describes what Rosemary sees. Quoting verbatim from the book, the baby has:

- a rosy face
- orange red hair
- golden yellow "animal" eyes with neither whites nor irises, but with vertical black-slit pupils
- claws wrapped inside mittens so the baby won't scratch himself
- small chin

That’s pretty goddam creepy.

I like that the film doesn’t actually show his face. Rosy’s reaction and your imagination do the work…

The baby may look like this based on the book's description: https://i.imgur.com/uSrvS81.jpg . Unnerving to see, but not too horrifying that Rosemary wouldn't show motherly love for.

So basically Donald Trump

Wow, nice!

Rosy will doubtless show motherly love for it until the day it bites her head off.
