Is it time enough to remake this film???

I think it could be a pretty good vehicle for Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller. At least Ben Stiller as Felix.

We have seen the definitive Odd Couples on film , stage and tv. How could anyone possibly attempt to improve on perfection?

The idiots who remake classic stuff throw linguini at the wall and it ALWAYS winds up being garbage because they have absolutely NO sense of history nor do they get the original films nor their premises.

I played Oscar Madison on stage and cringe at the idea of the current actors out there even attempting to do this role. And got to talk frequently to Jack Klugman at the track which was fun.

Leave the classics where they belong....in our hearts and memories...

Owen Wilson read this thread and tried to kill himself again.

The movie doesn't need to be remade. But if you're going to play the game on who would fit the roles, Adam Goldberg would make a great Felix and Jack Black would make a great Oscar.

reply

Steven Carrel would be a great felix.

Boycott Remakes, and lets not forget the anti-christ Uwe Boll!

reply

But...but...but the Odd Couple is a movie that's ALREADY been made. Why does anyone need to remake it?

reply

Yeah, it's also already been STAGED, why do they need to keep doing it? Because it's amazing, and I like to see other people's versions.

Please don't!

It would be a tragedy to ever remake this film.

reply

Why remake it? Isnt the original good enough?

Looking for spoilers, are ya?

reply

What would be the point of a remake?

reply

No just re-release the original into the Movie Houses so a new Generation can watch it on the Big Screen.

reply

No more remakes. The Odd Couple has been done in so many different versions that it does not ever need to be done again!
