Brilliant book, horrible film

How is this possible, the book is genius, they need to remake this film.

I fully agree with you, I awtched film ysterday, it was horrible. The most important scenes were so badly interpreted....

It's even more bizarre when you consider that John Fowles wrote not just the novel but the screenplay...
