Favorite Sequence

I thought Alan Arkin did okay enough, the movie wasn't great, but I did laugh at some sequences. I think the one I enjoyed best was when Clouseau picks up the girl with the broken down car, goes to the inn with her where they then pull the switch with the blonde beauty and chloroform him to make the mask. That whole sequence was amusing.

Are either of those characters ever named? The brunette girl and the blonde? Just wondering who played them.
