They are gonna make a remake. Originally meant as a movie, they will now do it as a TV-series instead:

Margot Robbie is hot but too vamp like for the role.
Amy Adams comes closer to Jane Fonda in looks, but let's face it, in the remake Barbarella should be much younger, so how about Selena Gomez???
