And now for some more nonsense.

On Lucy's show, the Make Room for Daddy characters appear, then on "Make Room for Daddy". Lucy Ricardo appears.

Also on "Make Room for Daddy", Sheriff Andy Taylor of Mayberry appears with Opie.

On The Andy Griffith Show, Gomer Pyle appears.

Gomer joins the marines and appears in "Gomer Pyle U.S.M.C."

Gomer Pyle then appears on The Lucy Show with Lucy Carmichael.

Then on "Make Room for Granddaddy", Lucy Carter appears with the Make Room for Daddy characters.

So, Lucy Ricardo, Lucy Carmichael, and Lucy Carter all exist in the same universe!!!

and could have met each other. And not only that, but on Here's Lucy, Lucy Carter met Lucille Ball.

So "I Love Lucy". "The Lucy Show", and "Here's Lucy" all exist in the same universe.

And Lucille Ball exists in the same universe, since Lucy Carter once met the real Lucille Ball in a LB lookalike contest. (really bad episode)

Several shows have done the storyline where the main character meets the celebrity lookalike. Sanford and Son did it with "Fred Meets Redd". In that instance I was always blown away with how much younger Redd Foxx was than Fred Sanford. He really was able to pull off looking like a much older man.
