What's your least favourite Character.
Mine is probably Private Cheesman no replacement for Walker but his WC armband was very funny, or it could be The Town Clerk, I don't why, he just annoys me.
would have to be Warden HODGES,not funny,and an irritating twerp,and the Pike character is a bit silly,no one carrys on like that in real life,as Wilson would say,"dont be absurd"."stupid boy",oh and Clive Dunns character is irritating,hes a real brown nose

Sorry to say but i am choosing Jonesey. His "Yes sir , no sir " attitude and constant volunteering(never giving the others a chance to do anything)irk me.
I know that soldiers have to show respect and loyalty to their superiors but i feel he goes too far and his constant fawning to Mainwaring is way over the top.
That said , maybe it's because i detest people in authority so much that has made me choose him.
Definitely Cheeseman, he was awful. A terrible mistake to try and replace walker with him. All the original cast were wonderful.
shareDon't get me wrong, I like Jones, but I probably like him the least, and the episodes that centred on him are my least favourite.
I think it's because Clive Dunn was an excellent physical comedian, so Jonesy episodes are usually the most slapstick ones.
Like I said, I still enjoy these - but a lot less than episodes that revolve around Wilson and Mainwaring.
And I've got a real soft spot for Fraser with his dramatic stories!
