Ending?
I felt like this movie ended in the middle. Did they ever even make it to Oregon?

shareYeah, it was supposed to be the Willamette, but it wasn't - it some Central Oregon desert river, and the final shot of the river with Mount Hood in the background ... is a fake Mount Hood. Mount Hood can be seen from some parts of the Willamette, but the Willamette is a Western Oregon "rain valley" river mostly surrounded with tall firs and lush grasslands, not the sparse desert flora shown in the film.
shareIt was shot at the Crooked River Gorge, Oregon, which is about 125 miles east of the Willamette River. There's no reason to assume that they didn't encounter the Crooked River Gorge, as shown in the movie, before making it to the Willamette Valley.
