Scar Vs Shere Khan

Who would win? They are very similar but I think a tiger is more powerful than a lion.

Shere Khan would definitely win. Scar is more of a thinker than a doer.

With preparation, I think Scar has it. All he would need is knowledge of SK's pyrophobia. As a borderline pyromaniac, who clearly had no problem being around fire, he definitely would use it to his advantage. There's also the hyenas. I don't expect Shenzi, Benzai, and Ed to be much help considering how ineffectual they were with Mufasa, but an entire army of Hyenas might slow SK down a little for Scar to make gains. All Khan has is Kaa, who isn't really even a "henchman." He'd probably just end up as fodder for Shenz, Benz, and Ed.
Otherwise, I guess Scar would just be physically outmatched. A far more interesting fight would be SK vs. Mufasa, in which case I think Mufasa would kick a$$. SK and Simba would probably stalemate, though. Simba had visible trouble with his emaciated, cowardly uncle for pete's sake.
I think Shere Khan would probably win. Tigers are larger and stronger than lions in real life. Besides, Scar was never that strong anyways, he had to rely on his wits and hyenas to get by. However in a one-on-one battle using raw power alone, I'd give the victory to Shere Khan.

I'm going with Sher Khan on this one. Scar was skinny, wimpy, all talk, and need 3 very annoying hyenas to do his bidding. He didn't really kill Mufasa, and was no match for adult Simba. Khan on the other hand was stronger, more ferocious (like when he leaped and growled at Mowgli after counting to 10), faster, and sneaker (like when he stalked a deer before the elephant march interfered). Plus, Khan had a more intimidating voice.
So if this were Las Vegas, I would put my money on Sher Khan.
Now let's remember that male lions aren't hunters. Scar is not used to fighting his own battles and prefers to manipulate from behind the scenes.
That said, Scar also has the unique ability to morph landscapes through song. Thus, Scar wins.
Easily Shere Khan. He was built up as a ruthless brute albeit with a refined manner whereas Scar was physically inferior as a lion.
