rocky and bullwinkle???

i thought underdog was a part of rocky and bullwinkle, was there another superdog on that show that i am getting it confused with??

reply

Are you thinking about Peabody and his boy Sherman?

Or maybe just that the cartoons came on in the same hour.
Perhaps both.
Because I am.

no, hes sort of correct. When I was younger and visiting a city in New York state, Underdog and Rocky and Bullwinkle was played as part of the SAME show everyday.

No, it wasn't one of those live-action hosted shows.

This was actually packaged as the same cartoon show, and only the csrtoons.

The state I lived in played them as completely separate shows.

reply

Nope they were both individual shows, with nary a superdog on R + B. They were both alike though, cartoons with cheap-as-heck animation with too many bad puns but very clever in their writing!

Underdog was used at the Bullwinkle's restaraunt though.

Underdog, Tennessee Tuxedo, and King Leonardo were all produced by Total Television. Rocky and Bulwinkl and George of the Jungle were produced by Jay Ward Productions. They might have been mixed in syndication packages.

In fact, Underdog was in direct competition with Jay Ward for its original spot on the NBC schedule.

Gamma Priods did animation, and BOTH had General Mills sponsorship, too!
