These Are The Voyages: Three part history by Marc Cushman

Reviews with lots of info I didn't know. Authorized by Star Trek producers Gene Roddenberry and Robert Justman.

As hinted at in The Making of Star Trek book the series was populated by real life fallible people. Not surprising that individuals encumbered by lust, ego, or jealousy were at the core of the show. Shatner. Roddenberry. Ellison. It kind of hurt learning that Roddenberry was so flawed but for a young person it provides a good life lesson. Anyways, these books are good education for those who seek a career in movies and TV as human flaws will always be an obstacle in life for many.
