Telephone Ring Tones

When the phone rang in the Head Office it had a very distinctive ring. I wish to find this sound file and put it on my cell phone if I can. Any idea where I could find the .wav file.

I downloaded the manual for the A670. Doesn't seem like you can use audio files for it. Sorry.

I have a samsung myself but a different model. You can download ringtones if you have web access. It's a kept secret.

Basically, put your ringtone in mp3 format. Put this mp3 on the interweb (with an easy to type address). Then navigate to this mp3 with your web browser on your phone. It will download to your phone and then you can use it as a ringtone. I made a rule britannia ringtone that way.

For the time being, navigate here with your phone to download the mp3 of the ringtone:

That seems to be broken and only ... shit, 20 years ago???

Even that Nokia idiot ring is better. I shudder each time I watch my copy of Our Man Flint.

"You've shown your quality sir. The very highest."

reply

You'll notice in some of the Austin Powers Movies, they use the same ringtone!!!

reply

Yea but I think they play it backwards in Austin powers.

That ring tone is also used in Hudson Hawk on a pair of of electronic handcuffs that Bruce Willis gets himself out of. James Coburn stars as well.

That's because Austin Powers is a PARODY. No *beep* it rips off James Bond and Flint movies.

And here I thought I was all original. If you want to use the "Composer" feature on an old-@ss Nokia phone, he's the "sheet music:"

8d2 16d2 16d2
8e2 16d2 16c2
8b1 16b1 16b1

Did you ever figure out how to put the our man flint telephone ringer on your phone. I know a lot of people who would love to have that ring. It is also in the austin powers movies.

I tried that first link and the sound was terrible. it was scratchy and missed some of the "tones"
Count me in if someone finds the wav or mp3 file for it. I'd think it would be "Cool Man!" to have on my moto MPx200

reply

This very same tone can also be heard a few times in the very last scene of "Agent Cody Banks", when Hilary Duff and Frankie Muniz are sitting on the car in the sunset, and in other spots in that movie.

You can sample rip it from an "Agent Cody Banks" DVD and convert it into an mp3 file and upload it to your phone. There are freeware and shareware programs out there that can do all of this for you.

You can also download it for free or have it sent to your cell phone at phonezoo.com

Yep, that is exactly what I did, and all it took was about 5 minutes. Works great now. Thanks.

I have used this ringtone in various forms on old Samsung (pre Galaxy) and my iPhone. I have loved this movie for years and when mp3 ringtones became available, I had to have it. I don't even remember where I got it.

I was once on a phone call at my office with a tech support guy and my phone rang. The tech support guy recognized it.
