Don't Mind the Arpege, It's There By Osmosis

This is a line Jean Simmons' character speaks to James Garner's character when she takes a small piece of paper (list) out of her cleavage and hands it to him. Of course she means the perfume (Arpege) has been infused into the paper.

If you watch this with CC on, you'll really get an example of the stupidity of people. The CC line reads "Don't mind the odd page, it's there by osmosis". The moron who did the captioning for this film, simply proved they don't know what osmosis means and doesn't have the intellect to use Google.

The word said is clearly Arpege, and a simple Google search brings it up, even if you spell it wrong. The simplest understanding of the word osmosis would have permitted even a middle schooler of average intelligence to figure this out.
