I thought some Roman emissary (actor looked familiar but not sure) usurped the power from Herrod Antipas (Jose Ferer) and said from then on it would be ruled by a Roman (I assume Pilate) yet later, Herod Antipas captures John the Baptist and said he is the king. Can explain?
