So did they go to hell?

In the later Amicus anthology films that I have seen, like Tales from the Crypt and The Vault of Horror, the characters go to hell for the bad things they've done. It's never said explicitly here that their final destination is hell, is it? Only that they died.

Many of the characters in this didn't do anything really serious to warrant eternal hellfire. IMHO, the one most justified to go to hell was Christopher Lee's character. Maybe Biff Bailey for womanising and living a sinful life as a musician. What Dr. Bob did was manslaughter. Dawson's sin would have been visited upon him from his forefathers (Exodus 34:7)? What did Bill Rogers, the married family father, do?
