You are correctomundo. She was an all-round entertainer. Singer, dancer, actress, showman. Not too many like that these days. There seem to be serious actresses, or actresses who are self-involved, or can't sing or dance. Or they can dance but can't act.

What's interesting about Maclain is that she wasn't beautiful and in fact didn't have a great figure. But with makeup and clothes, an illusion was created.

This is heartening to me for all the girls out there that you don't have to be perfect to be sexy, alluring, or successful. It's all about confidence and illusion.

She's trim and fit (she was a trained dancer, after all). And she had slender legs. But if you notice, she is short waisted, somewhat thick waisted, and her lower legs are not shapely (unusual for a dancer), and she's almost flat chested. Her eyes are small but alluring, looking best with false eyelashes. But she is tiny, delicate, with delicate features, and her clothes accentuate her assets & make the best of her flaws. No silicone-pumped lips for her! She has tiny, curvaceous lips that curl up at the corners.
