Wow! What a fantastic film😃

I bet this was quite the shocker when it was originally released.

My favourite Hammer film is Scream of Fear which follows a similar plot, but Joan Crawford was amazing in this, I think I like it even better.

My only criticism is that the last scene was unnecessary, kind of felt like the end of an episode of Murder She Wrote.

Also, what happened to the boyfriend's mother? When Carol was having her meltdown, she said that they can get married now, suggesting the mother was also dead. Was she killed off screen? I wonder if they filmed it but just didn't include it for some reason 🤔

Of you like murder stories then definitely give this a watch.
