Karen Sharpe accused Lewis of sexual assault

In a Vanity Fair interview in Dec. 2022, Karen Sharpe said Jerry Lewis started molesting her during a wardrobe fitting and tried to have sex with her. When she refused he was furious. He punished her by telling the crew they weren’t allowed to speak to her during production. He also wouldn’t rehearse with her or speak to her unless they were filming.
