Recent photo of actress Nancy Kovack (Sheila Sommers, Clio Vanita)

Nancy Kovack was always one of my favorite guest stars on "Bewitched" - especially in the beginning when she played Darrin's ex-girlfriend 'Sheila Sommers'). I've said in the past, it's too bad they didn't incorporate her character more somehow throughout the series.

Anyhow, in 1969 Kovack married maestro Zubin Mehta. Last Fall, he retired as musical director of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. I found this article on Mehta and his wife of 50 years, with this recent photo of her (October 2019). She turned 85 last year.

No way Dick York and/or Sargent were dating Nancy Kovack. Sam tho equally, or more, beautiful is hard to believe also, but the plot required it.

I agree.

I didn't expect Kovack to look like that at 85. I didn't know what to expect, but I didn't expect that. (She looks good for 85, and I don't think she had 'work' done).
