black & white

there is something off with the picture on this, at least on the version i saw, it kind of almost is on the border of being colour and also it hasn't got the animated opening i'm custom to from these movies, the groovy 1960's music is like something right out of "austin powers" and feels weird and out of place but i know still that this is a fairly common soundtrack to these flicks, and think about this, i figure he isn't throwing around english slangs in the 1949 movie as in this later piece. funny how his wife seem to just shake her head and pay no mind when it looked like he was undressing the woman that was being attacked by ants on the grass. it also is different in the way that the lead actor is playing two roles in this movie, except for the title role of course, but also a snobby relative guy, i was surprised how much there really is an extraordinary difference, like two different actors, and as usual the grocery store owner man stands out and is a riot.

stuck in your headlight,
far from dark home,
meltin snow and whistle blow,
wish halt would remain,
so i could stay on your train.
