Should they make a sequel or remake with Jack Nicholson?

Jack Nicholson is getting close to Karloff's age when he made the original The Terror. Nicholson could take the place of Karloff, as the brooding old man who lives in an old Gothic castle.

Would make for an interesting film?

I would watch it at least once.

I've been waiting for you, Ben.

yeah. sounds amazing and could it set a record for time until a sequel being made. about this though, what an atmospheric neat horror movie, the paintings, the colour, the haunting background music, the setting of this old castle and its surroundings, the story and the dialogue, this has to be underrated, right? i rewatched it for the first time in years, noticed i pretty much know it by heart since it's part of movie hostess elvira's collection, karloff's back problems are quite apparent, i think his last role was pretty much spend in a wheelchair, notice how clearly he is credited as the star even though nicholson takes up much more of the running time, corman often seem to have his old cast return in movies, like "the twilight zone radio dramas". today we see karloff and bela lugosi as these iconic figures in movie history, but at the time they ended up in these obscure low budget movies. "no one gives a... about bela. i'm just an ex boogey man" - "bela lugosi" (ed wood, 1994.). this was not bad, not bad at all.
