Great Film - needs a re-master

I saw this on TCM yesterday. The title sequence was letterboxed, but the rest of the film was shown in the standard ratio of 4:3. It's probably 1.85:1, so we missed what was going on on the sides. Also, I recall this film as being particuarly sparkling, and the worn out version they showed yesterday looked a little dull. Please remaster this film Warner Brothers, it's a gem!

This film has just been remastered as a "burned on demand" DVD-R from Warner Home Archives.

1,000 mini-bios and I feel like I'm just getting started

It just aired again on TCM yesterday (May 22, 2011). Unfortunately, they still choose to show the cropped 1.33:1 version.

But it's showing on TCM again today (November 13, 2013) and they're showing it wide-screen, letterboxed!

Just saw it on TCM on Nov.13. It was letter-boxed but still the film showed lots of dirt specks; needs to be re-mastered. A cute film with great views of New York in the 60's.

Update: I just watched it on TCM (September 4, 2023) and it was full wide-screen, crystal-sharp, with brilliant colors.

I'm watching it right now. Yes, it's definitely a classic, and always enjoyable to watch. The views expressed regarding women and love, etc., and social morais are certainly dated. But, I still love the film...and Adam's apartment!

Dated? So what? It was made in 1963, it takes place in 1963, so the views expressed are 1963 views. Did you expect people in 1963 to make a movie expressing 2012 views?
