Patrick Troughton?

Who did Patrick Troughton in this movie? The credits list on IMDB says Phineas, but I'm trying to remember who that was. It's been 8 years since I've seen the film. I'm thinking he played the blind man. Can someone verify or correct this for me? Thanks!

He did play Phineas the blind man. Years later, he would be involved in another Ray Harryhausen production as Melanthius, the old Greek alchemist in SINBAD AND THE EYE OF THE TIGER.

And in another Doctor Who/Ray Harryhausen link, Tom Baker was in The Golden Voyage Of Sinbad.

I've not seen Sinbad And The Eye Of The Tiger. I wasn't aware Troughton had appeared in another Harryhausen production.

Troughton was easily recognizable as the blind man despite the white wig.

Its that man again!!

I looked at the cast list before I watched the movie but I'm not sure I would have recognised him immediately had I not. He was known for his jet black hair and his unsmiling characters at the time this movie was made. Here he smiles as he tosses pieces of bread to the caged harpies. I felt sorry for those imprisoned creatures in a cramped cage.
