I think the casting directors needed their glasses on. NO WAY could she pass for a 14 year old.
Lauri was always playing young teen roles but she really did look older than she was. She looks far older than 19 in this movie.

She did look a little older than 14, but certainly not like a 35 year old. Either way, she was adorable in this movie.

All the Hobbs' daughters dressed similarly to their mother. That was the norm back then. When I watch old movies it's hard for me to tell people's ages. All the men wore suits and hats and all the women dressed and coiffed their hair in similar styles.

She reminds me of Amy Linker from TV's "Square Pegs".
