Eugene O'Neill is a playwright whose work has transformed the drama of the 20th Century. His trio of family plays, Long Day's Journey into Night, A Moon For the Misbegotten and Ah, Wilderness are at the top of his work, but Anna Christie, Strange Interlude, Mourning Becomes Electra and Beyond the Horizon are beautiful works.
