tribe on Island

It stopped me in my tracks to see the natives. Some were completely japanese, and others were Japanese in bronze and others in darker tone make-up. Then they tried to do a sexy dance, one of the women being an attractive Japanese woman in bronze.I don't belive it was offensive, just weirdly erotic. Remember on Skull Island, Kong, (and other prehistoric beasts) were kept out by the huge gate built by African natives.

Some Japanese in Japan looked deliberately goofy and comical and the movie was called a satire on commericialism or big business.

The 'treatment' of natives by non-black actors and display of natives in the film or movie has always been amusing to study and note.

Check out Disney's In Search of the Castaways with the Polynesian natives at the end. Watch the dance leader's expressions.

Then it was something in the seventies Tarzan cartoon, there were never any African natives, just Polynesian or latino looking natives.

I don't think they could ever grasp having a black man visit on the cartoon.

Just put KKvG in the same category with these.

And Mickey Rooney's BIZARRE turn in Breakfast At Tiffanys.

Thats one thing that always bothered me with these Godzilla movies. There was no racial diversity in any of the films
