Of course Sean Connery tops the list and Casino Royal was an excellent reboot, although part-2 "Quantum" was unfortunately a boring disappointment. Most of the ok/mediocre titles were from the Roger Moore era, then Timothy Dalton brought back a bit of refreshing toughness but it was short-lived. And with all due respect I simply did not like Pierce Brosnan as Bond, way too many sexual innuendo "jokes", a bit too girly version of the character and some cheesy chase scenes (rooftop motorcycle with handcuffed girl, etc.). Most of the Brosnan fans put Goldeneye on top but I hated it except for maybe Onatopp's thighs. The horrible CGI kite-surfing scene in Die Another Day was cringe-worthy, not his fault of course, more of a production faux-pas. Going back, Moonraker was pure cheese, one Jaws feature was enough and his "girlfriend" thing was just silly camp. A View to a Kill was scraping the bottom of the barrel (although I usually LOVE Christopher Walken, what a shame). Roger Moore stayed on at least one episode too long and seeing him in the sack with that stick insect was beyond nauseating. So onto the list:

GREAT:
1. From Russia with Love
2. Thunderball
3. Dr. No
4. You Only Live Twice
5. Casino Royale
6. Goldfinger

PRETTY GOOD:
7. On Her Majesty's Secret Service
8. Skyfall
9. For Your Eyes Only
10. The Living Daylights
11. The Man with the Golden Gun
12. Live and Let Die
13. Never Say Never Again

NOT SO GOOD:
14. The Spy Who Loved Me
15. Octopussy
16. Licence to Kill
17. The World Is Not Enough
18. Tomorrow Never Dies
19. GoldenEye

THE BOTTOM:
20. Die Another Day
21. Diamonds Are Forever
22. Moonraker
23. Quantum of Solace
24. A View to a Kill

I don't actively dislike any of the 007 films. Just some entertain me more than others. The lowest mark I'd give any of them is a 6/10. Not seen Skyfall yet.

Just started rewatching the series. Haven't seen a lot of them before and not watching them in any particular order, so my current rankings are:

1. A View To a Kill (best villain and soundtrack)
2. Octopussy (best setting and superior action sequences)
3. Dr. No (cool setting but fairly boring film)
