One of the best?

Extraordinarily good, but I'm not sure "one of the best". I'd have to think about that (particularly in terms of what "the best" means - top 10? 20? 500?) I do really, really like the way that the film constantly warped its philosophical and emotional points, keeping everyone on uneven footing, particularly for a film of the era.
