Man, what kooky parents!

Karl Malden and Angela Lansbury did a great job of portraying two very kooky parents - Ralph and Annabelle Wilart.

The part where Ralph invited those three old drunks into the house for Christmas - and Annabelle promptly enticed them to leave by offering them each a ten-dollar bill - was hilarious.

Don't mess with me, man! I know karate, judo, ju-jitsu..... and several other Japanese words.

Yeah, Annabelle sure wasn't going to let ol' Ralph have anyone to drink with, even on Christmas Eve.

Ralph talked the communist talk, but didn't mind living in his big house full of stuff. Typical.
