When Beneatha and Walter's father Big Walter was still living where did Beneatha sleep? I mean, because now she shared a room with her mother.

Most likely Travis slept on the floor and she slept on the couch. When Grandpa died, she moved in with Lena and Travis moved from floor to couch.
