Stunning, fantastic!
Waited to watch it with a friend. She wasn't blown away by the film itself, but? Really high marks for the acting and cinematography.
Of course, I thought it was great!
I just got the Criterion blu ray and watched it last night...beautiful. One of my all time favorite movies. I am glad that others in the business also like this film enough to make a restored version. I love how Brando has this thin veneer of normalcy but you can see in his eyes that underneath he's raging and may explode at any moment.

Yeah, the raging under the surface. When Rio flipped out at Bob Amory, threw the table, backed up, kicked the chair, that was intense. Poor old Bob was shaking with fear (great acting by both Brando and Johnson).
