Giant Bees

This was a great scean along with the attack of the Giant Bird. I loved the characters (herbert and elena)they were so cute together. I mean if you were a giant bird would'nt you want to eat them? Back to the Bees!! I loved Ray Harryhausen's special effects espacialy the stop motion. He is a genius. And the Bees sealing in this cute young couple who are barely dressed is way hot. I wonder what this scean would look like in a remake. Who would play (herbert and elena). Giant bees and sexy, tiny humans. Great film!!
Any comments?

This isn't really a response to the original post, just a thought:

When you think about it, fending off that one gigantic bee was much easier than it would have been to fight off a swarm of normal sized bees. In a way, Herbert and Elena were actually lucky to have to deal with just that one oversized insect.

To all of the people complaining about the remake with Patrick Stewart: you do realize that this version is also a remake. The original came out in 1929 and starred Lionel Barrymore (best remembered as Mr. Potter from It's A Wonderful Life) as Count Dakkar, based off of Captain Nemo.

I thought that the bee's were some of Harryhausen's best creations.

To me the giant bee looked more like a giant wasp.

I'll let you know when I come-up with a new signature, .
