What Was Missing The Final Season

Other than George and Dorothy’s absence which is a given I think the show suffered because none of the old neighborhood friends of Hazel were there.

No Rosie. No Sunshine Girls. No mailman. No Mitch. No Mr. Griffin. No Johnsons (I don’t know how they survived when Hazel moved away).

And also what happened to Smiley the dog?

I think it would have been better if Steve and Barbara lived in the same old neighborhood. They could have moved back from out of state and Steve could have opened his real estate business.

Some of the warmth was lost.
