I don’t know if it will work or not. But I think a good suggestion would be to have Frasier’s grown son come to live with him and have the son have the same personality as Martin. And the fact that she took her time to be pleasant to a 15-year-old relative of someone who wasn’t even a regular costar tells tons about Elizabeth Montgomery. She never felt that she was better than anyone. I think the reason why it is comforting is that it never goes into social issues and has a dramatic episode like a lot of the shows at that time did. It was just a fun show and it was played for fun. I saw on the Internet movie database under trivia for Green Acres that Sam Drucker once said that the ZIP Code for Hooterville was 40516 and 1/2. I looked up ZIP Code 40516 and it said Lexington Kentucky. Someone else stated here that it was said on the show that Chicago is about 300 miles from Hooterville. I looked up Lexington Kentucky and it is 379 miles from Chicago. Hooterville must be in Kentucky. That’s true. And maybe Endora said “Your Aunt Clara” because she was angry. Just like a parent would say to the other parent “Look what your child did”. I just got finished watching an episode where Endora complains about Clara to Samantha and refers to her as “your aunt Clara”. So Clara must be on Maurice’s side of the family. If she was on Endora’s side of the family I would think she’d be referred to as just Aunt Clara. So she’s probably either Maurice’s older sister or Maurice’s aunt. Although Endora has never referred to Clara as her sister-in-law so maybe she’s Maurice’s aunt. She wasn’t always told to. As a matter of fact after they were married Tony and Jeannie spent time in the bottle as well. View all replies >
