Would she have recovered?

If they could have captured and isolated her, I wonder if she would have gone through some sort of withdrawal but then eventually returned to normal after she was off the wasp junk. It was also interesting that in spite of the fact that the side effects she was having were so unpleasant that she was desperate to find the chemist to discuss them, she kept injecting herself anyway. Such a tragedy; she was a pretty cool person before everything went to hell.
