Would anybody consider this a Christmas movie? By that I mean, would you watch this annually or every so often at christmas time? I mean there is a Christmas scene...and I notice the release date was a December 21...just curious...
shareI've never thought of it as a Christmas movie. I know it has a Christmas scene but the rest of the movie screams summer in my opinion. I guess its just because of the island, beach, swimming, etc. I usually watch it at some point during the summer.
shareIt's a tropical island. The weather is always the same. It always seems like summer.
shareCertainly a family movie, although I never associated it with Christmas in particular. It did have a Christmas scene, but it was only a small part of the movie. Also I guess that in the northern hemisphere we tend to associate Christmas with winter, and of course the weather on that island seemed always tropical.
