Warrant gained under false pretenses

Chief Inspector Hazard sought a warrant to inspect sign makers shops in the neighborhood for stolen lead so that he could gain admittance to the Mr. Harris’ work shed and look under the tarp. If this were to come out that the warrant was gained under false pretenses, wouldn’t it invalidate the evidence and jeopardize the case?
