Fun Movie And Beverly Garland Is Hot

One of many such low budget genre movies in which you can just sit back, enjoy, and forget your troubles. Not only was Beverly gorgeous but she was also smart and an excellent actress.

I agree about Beverly Garland. She portrays all the right emotions and makes the story real/believable for the audience.

Some parts of the movie made me think of "The Twilight Zone" and Alfred Hitchcock, especially the earlier mysterious, suspenseful parts.

The story has a perfect set-up for a popcorn-munching, sci-fi thriller. It's a perfect combination for a date movie at the drive-in. I wish that I had seen it that way!

Amazing how many excellent actors were in these horror/sci-fi Bs. Acting must be the most competitive occupation in America. Just one year before AP, he was GREAT in Paths Of Glory(also had a beautiful voice).

Two more comic book connections Beverly Garland used to play Lois Lane's mom starting in season two of LOIS & CLARK.
In season one Phyllis Coates played Lois' mom, who also played Lois in season one only of "the Adventures of Superman"

Bruce Bennett twice played TARZAN and in his films he spoke perfect English none of that Me TARZAN you Jane nonsense

FYI- Ms. Beverly Garland and her name graces a large modern hotel property in Universal City on Tyjunga Blvd near the Cahuenga Pass. It is now a hotel and convention center ironically were many autograph and photo conventions are held for stars to meet their fans. She has been there many times to talk to her fans. I don't know if she built the hotel originally (so her name was on it), but it's now owned by one of the mega international hotel chains.

Two reasons for Internet bullying of others with public forum attacks: fear, ignorance and envy.

Yes, and what an idiot her husband was to leave her on the train on the way to their honmeymoon!

Why not just put the telegram in your pocket, go have your honeymoon, and then slip away to the swamps for treatments. Or even better, tell her to come with you so she can assist, since she's a nurse anyway. Dumbutt guy.

He likely already had signs of his flesh somewhat turning to alligator skin in hidden places, but was in denial about it (or hoped that it wasn't anything to concern himself over). When he got the telegram on the train he freaked out and headed straight to the plantation in the bayou in the hope of fixing the condition before it got worse. He figured he'd get healed and then make up some story to tell his wife, but the movie emphasizes that he did not want her to see him as a part-alligator man.
