Some thoughts about Vertigo

which I watched for the first time on the big screen, I think Scottie's dream is his subconscious warning him or cementing certain memories that will help him in the future, in the end of the film, but what is the subconscious? where does its voice come from? Is it from the great beyond? I was disappointed the first time I saw it because I was hoping the film would be of a supernatural nature but I'm not exactly sure all supernatural elements are gone from the film once the reveal is done. Maybe there are still supernatural elements left in it.

The ending reminds me of Orpheus and Eurydice. If you get a second chance, don't question it, or try to control it or you'll lose it forever.
