See DIVORCE ITALIAN STYLE instead (also from Criterion, also with Marcello). THAT is edgier and more consistent.
Subplot after subplot in this as if those characters/actors are SO worth delving into...the photography/directing are creative, though.
i'm an indian and i thought this was hilarious. i would watch this over most indian comedies. and i suspect many of them were inspired by BIG DEAL ON MADONNA STREET.

I don´t find the ¨add to watch list¨ option on the main imdb page for this film, do you? Where is it? I see it on the photograph of the other movies listed as similar films to watch but there should be the same option of this film, isn´t it?
