Why did the maker(s) of the giant getup make it so sinister? I have put the brains of dead people back in other bodies and it just doesn’t pay to scare people. Then they want to destroy it.
Why not put it in a warm, fuzzy body, like the Michelin Man or the Pillsbury Doughboy?

You've got a point. Actually, Dr. Spensser, Sr. only needed Jeremy's brain to continue figuring out worldwide nutrition problems, so he could have just left it in the aquarium with a voice hookup. No need to have it walking around at all. But yeah, since he decided to put it in a humanoid body, why make it gigantic and frightening looking, with death-ray eyes?
