Why is this film never shown on tv?

In the late 60's it was shown on KHJ Channel 9 in Los Angeles five nights in a row on their "Million Dollar Movie." I watched it several time as a kid, but you're right. I don't think it has ever been aired since.

I've seen Loving You on TV, but not for some years. A decade or more, perhaps.

NBC ran it in the late 70s every now and then. It was on VHS and DVD and apparently the DVD is out of print.
