Why was Ballard killed. If he knew where the $400,000 was why kill him?
Why steal the trailer? Was the money suppose to be in the trailer. It was never mentioned.
How did the killer know where Perry hid the $1500.00?
You might want to watch again and pay closer attention. ALL of those answers are in there ... unless maybe you're watching in syndication where some scenes are cut out for additional commercials.

shareIt's been a WHILE since I saw that episode, but it's memorable. I believe the murderer saw Mason raise and lower the shade, and Ballard was getting a bit soft on keeping the secret. Then it was the murderer the detectives saw raise and lower the shade to retrieve the two bills, but he was a similar build to Perry so they thought it was him. And it seems like the trailer was taken because he thought the money or a clue to the money was hidden inside.
sharei watched it again and i understand the window shade thing. i guess emory (the killer) saw mason put the money there from outside the house and retrieved it (this is the person the cops saw). i am not sure if ballard was in on the robbery or not? if emory and the nurse had the $400,000 why were they trying to frame arlene dowling? they obviously stole the trailer and planted the $18,000 there. a very strange episode.
