New and revised highlights of the original Leave it to Beaver pilot with alternate takes by Barbara and Jerry, and improved video and audio quality. It also includes an improved presentation of the September 1987 teaser segment on Entertainment Tonight.

Most fans know this pilot featured different actors as Ward (Casey Adams) and Wally (Paul Sullivan, who grew too fast by the time CBS was ready to begin shooting the first season). And there was no Eddie Haskell but Harry Shearer played a similar smart-aleck character called Frankie. Diane Brewster (Miss Canfield) and Richard Deacon (Mr. Rutherford) were in the pilot but as different characters (Brewster was a secretary who Beaver adored as much as he would soon adore her as his teacher; her boss Mr. Baxter played by Deacon was a very similar weasel character as he would soon play as Mr. Rutherford).
